How Does ClearFiber compare to Cerberg Profibe?

ProFibe is a water-soluble fiber supplement containing guar gum and citrus pectin. These water-soluble fibers are complexed to soy protein to increase palatability and functionality.

ClearFiber is a hydrolyzed Guar Gum similar to the Profibe formula, however, we use a special kind of guar gum that dissolves completely, is totally tasteless, and is more easily tolerated. Research using this hydrolyzed guar gum have found it to be quite beneficial in helping to normalize cholesterol similar to the ProFibe.

Like ProFibe, ClearFiber is a tasteless powder, which is mixed into prepared foods or blended into beverages. It is approved under the FDA’s G.R.A.S. (Generally Recognized as Safe) ruling and accepted by the joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives.
