How Should I Take Clear Fiber?

Clear Fiber is easy to use. Start with 1 tablespoon mixed in water twice daily for one week, then increase to 2 tablespoons twice daily thereafter. You may mix it into any beverage, hot or cold, it will dissolve completely and is tasteless.

How Does Clear Fiber Compare To Profibe?

Profibe was a citrus pectin with guar gum formula that was used to normalize cholesterol. It was a very effective supplement. Clear Fiber uses a well-researched and clinically proven alternative fiber formula, providing a special form of hydrolyzed (pre-digested) guar gum. Research shows that it can normalize cholesterol, similar to Profibe. In addition, Clear Fiber is much easier to take as it is completely tasteless and dissolve completely in water.

Are There Side Effects?

Although Clear Fiber is one of the most well-tolerate fiber supplements on the market, sometimes it can lead to gas. As the body adapts to the fiber intake, gas will improve over time. To decrease gas, start with a low dose (1 tablespoon once or twice daily) and slowly increase the dose to the optimal 2 tablespoons twice daily. Profibe is no longer available because the company was unable to consistently get the raw materials needed to make the product. Since ProFibe had ceased operations, we have been using ClearFiber by The Expert Nutrition Center and our patients have been getting great results and loving how it dissolves and disappears with less gas and bloating than the Profibe!

How Does ClearFiber compare to Cerberg Profibe?

ProFibe is a water-soluble fiber supplement containing guar gum and citrus pectin. These water-soluble fibers are complexed to soy protein to increase palatability and functionality.

ClearFiber is a hydrolyzed Guar Gum similar to the Profibe formula, however, we use a special kind of guar gum that dissolves completely, is totally tasteless, and is more easily tolerated. Research using this hydrolyzed guar gum have found it to be quite beneficial in helping to normalize cholesterol similar to the ProFibe. 

Like ProFibe, ClearFiber is a tasteless powder, which is mixed into prepared foods or blended into beverages. It is approved under the FDA’s G.R.A.S. (Generally Recognized as Safe) ruling and accepted by the joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives. Since it is a constituent of all plants, soluble fiber has long been part of the human diet. National and international food regulations recognize that water-soluble fibers are valuable foods and can reduce the risk of heart disease.

Not Same as Profibe, But Seems Good

This product is probably good and effective, time will tell.

How soon will I receive my product?

Most orders ship within one to two days. We keep many items in stock, however, unlike other online retailers, we do not buy in bulk in order to assure that you get fresh and effective products. Many online retailers buy hundreds of bottles at a time to get the best price so that they can squeeze out a bit more profit. This can mean your product could be sitting in a hot warehouse for months before it gets shipped to you. We buy direct from the manufacturer in small batches in order to get the freshest product possible for you, which means higher efficacy even if it takes a couple more days for you to receive the items.
