The body has three main stages of sleep: REM Sleep, Deep Sleep, and Light Sleep
REM Sleep is when the body clears out junk info and memories and files the important stuff away
Deep sleep is when the body does it’s repair and regeneration
If your body doesn’t get enough deep sleep, then the cells begin to fatigue and become dysfunctional
After using the ZEO to monitor my brainwaves as I slept I discovered that eating before bed, especially carbs, caused me to lose a lot of deep sleep
Bottom line: Don’t eat 3 hours before bed to allow your body to repair and rejuvenate
