- Melatonin 20 mg – Directions: 1 Capsule 1-2 hours before bed. There has been some compelling research and case studies done on the effects of high-dose melatonin in thrombocytopenia. In one study, 8 of 14 patients had their platelet counts normalize after 2 months of 20 mgs of melatonin nightly.
- Methyl-Guard by Thorne Research – Directions: 1 capsule twice daily. Thrombocytopenia can often accompany a form of anemia caused by B12 and folate deficiency.
